Most men are lonely and more likely to commit suicide. Most females have lots of friends- even the ugly ones. Are men more loners by nature? Friendship is not considered close because it is wrongly percieved as homosexuality. Men keep friends at a distance , even if they want more connection. Females need people to survive both in the short and in the long run, therefore they need to socialize. Man don't need in general other people to hunt for them, people to take care of them in pregnancy, etc

They always say the best marriage is a silent man and a talkative woman. I think it's because a marriage like that maximizes resources. A silent man means he is even more independent than the average man and doesn't need to socialize to survive, while a talkative women means she has greater social skills which means she probably has more dependency which also means that she has higher chances of spending more time pregnant and expanding the family.
