i think ive noticed improvements in my hairloss with fin too, i had early crown thinning. i'll post pics in like a month (im on month 3 of fin so might be cope)

Im almost 22 and my hairline has been nw1 for quite a while. The problem is that the hair on top of my scalp is thinner than the rest so its really hard to style what do I do about that?

Good thread op, just took it today first time how do you like cut the pills got em off allday but there tiny thought theyd be larger. Also when did u notice the hair loss decrease after how many weeks?

Did you get 1mg? Or 5mg?

Look into pill cutters.

The first few months was basically no effect, some people shed, I didn't.
After 6 months is when you really start to see results.

The 5mg ones yeah I’ll look into pill cutters try n get one tmoro.
Did u notice the shedding let’s say in the shower or on your pillow go away in the first few weeks?

Tbh yes, I did notice less hair shedding after 1-2 weeks. I used to run my fingers through my hair and get 5-10 hair out each time (JFL)
After a few weeks it was only 1-2....

Ah great many thanks for ur help man, my hair is fairly long too around nose length lmao hope this shit will jus stop the shedding down a good bit in the next few weeks will get the pill cutter tmoro many thanks!

Some details before I share the pictures:


- I started taking finasteride at 19, 20 now
- I started balding at 15/16. It really started picking up at 18, basically went from nw1 to nw2.5 in 1 year
- I take 1mg daily
- Sourced from AllDayChemist
- I experienced 0 side effects (only minor thing I noticed wass when I do nofap, I tend to get blue balls a little easier, not really something that bothers me since I can avoid it)
- Supplements I take/have used that may aid in hair growth and that I recommend are, Zinc, D3, Magnesium, MSM.

As you can see, there are many small hairs at my hairline, so I am confident progress will continue, perhaps I can even reach a norwood 1.5 again with the assistance of microneedling in the future.

Very occasionally I have problems remembering some specific word (has happened 3 times in 4-5 months, where I wasn't able to recall a person's name). Could be placebo, could be fin.

I take 5mg every other day now, took a break from it a while ago, I like the pumps in the gym I get from it tho, hence why I do it every other day to match gym days

Yeah I took 2.5 mg the other day for the gym and the pump was insane. The problem tho was the terrible headache and aching muscles I got 6 hours in. Also the boners were so powerful they’d wake me up in the middle of my sleep and I’d be tossing and turning the rest of the night. The latter is quite the drawback tbh. Disrupted sleep is where I draw the line lol
