When I was 15, I went to the pediatricians, and at the time, I was like 189cm. So they measured me on the stadiometer, and the PA's assistant goes, 'It says ... 179cm.' Like, what. That's a whole 5 inches she took from my height. I don't know if they corrected it afterwards because the first thing the PA said after that was I was very tall and that I was in the 99th percentile for my age. Was this an IRL troll or what, I'm still wondering why she took 5 inches off my height

She was a lot shorter than I was, so maybe she misinterpreted 189cm for 179cm, but that's still a whole 5 inches
