I lived in Italy for a bit a few years ago and it was crazy how many people smoked cigs. Even young girls that you would never expect would light one up after lunch.
It honestly seemed like there wasn't really a negative connotation towards smoking in the US.
Is it like this in France and other European countries, too?
I was living in a small village in Italy and everyone I met were some of the healthiest looking and acting people I've ever seen despite daily smoking and wine.
