I was just reminiscing my childhood and I remember I used to cope with virtual social games back when I was like 10-14. Specifically, I coped with Habbo and Fantage. There were other ones like Club Penguin, Second Life and IMVU, but I never used them. Tbh, I'd probably have been NT if my dad never got internet or a computer. Can't say I wish it never happened, because I still cherish times spent gaming on virtual worlds. That said, did anyone else use these sorts of websites when they were younger?

i did play one of those newgrounds flash anime "dating sims" and the only reason we ever bothered with them was to unlock the shitty sex scene at the end.

Sims 2 was the best game growing up. So many good memories putting people in the pool and then taking the ladder away so they couldn't get out.

Bro, I was a kid. Look at the age range I gave.. In fact, I was probably done with them when I was 13 and moved on to regular videogames (I played them too, just weren't my main go-to as my past-times).
And I played newgrounds as well. I remember those anime games you are talking about lol. My bro and I would take turns playing them.

I'm joking fella. I probably played something similar in my youth. I remember a bunch of people would always go to the local library to play runescape and neopets on the PCs there and piss the staff off BECAUSE ITS FOR SERIOUS LIBRARY AND RESEARCH USE

Or making yourself good looking

She was trying to save you from being inkle, huny
didnt help when dad fed into her bullshit. Like wtf, no one had my back. Imagine a father telling his son not to watch porn, not because he thinks its wrong, but because the mother wants her son not to think of women like objects. I had zero role models or guidance on becoming a man.

Good times. No stressing over work, education, girls, and life in general. Just eating, sleeping, and playing around on PC.

For me, it was a little bit different. I had to sleep everyday at 8 PM, and after school (8:30 AM until 3 PM), I would have Qur'an lessons at the mosque, from 4 PM until 5:30 PM, I would be home at 6 PM, and then I had little time for myself. In the weekends, however, I had a lot more time for myself. I remember waking up on Saturdays and going upstairs to watch Dragon Ball Z episodes haha.

I was raised Jehovah's Witness, so I actually did that stuff too.

Monday - prepare for Bible study
Tuesdays - Bible Study
Friday-Sun - door to door preaching with dad and congregation
Sun - Bible Study.

That was my routine for the majority of my life. I started to stop these religious practices around 17 years of age and stopped completely at 19 years old.

Ahhh, interesting. It's not often you find people with the same tight schedule based on religion. I stopped going to the mosque when high school started. I think my upbringing was mostly responsible for that; being put off about the idea of ever stepping into a mosque because I didn't have much time for myself. But sometime after high school ended, I started being religious again, luckily before I ever did something stupid I couldn't take back. I'm on my way to the mosque soon actually, God-willing. Every Friday.

It's all cope to me. I know God exists and that I could find a decent wife in my religion, but I want to live a life of sin, if only for a little while. I'll go back one day....

You never know when you're going to go. Maybe you will live for 50 more years. 50 more days. Or 50 more minutes. Make sure you know what you're doing.
