When we describe nothing in the contextualization of the big bang. We end up describe things as properties of x like the conception of before the universe their was nothing. That concept though is wrong that conception describes a abstract idea and places that relation as if it was a real even wrong. What even modern scientists and even many philosophers especially the Platonist's get wrong is they describe releational concepts like nothing as a concept with actual qualities of the thing rather than conceptions.
Example 1.
The universe itself is filled with empty space.
Wrong it's not empty it's got the ether we use relational conceptions like empty space to describe the actual thing it's not it is empty and we place thing in between. It is rather it exists things are within the aether empty space just acts as a relational property between space and the so called emptiness.
So their no empty space so your wondering what this means well people say what exists outside outside this universe presumable the ether a a relational spot where other non physical entities exist primarily something unknown to us currently.
Lets next get to the conception of the universe being infinite. First of all while things can be conceptually be infinite in length or in diamter for things to be truly be actually infinite would be a logical contradiction cause to exist is to have indentity meaning it has a limit doesn't have to be finite it can be eternal as well. The conception of infinite implies things have absolute no begging or end this means it cannot have identity.
Know so the first option is gone. The universe is not infinity what then is the the other option ? either it goes back infinitely or their is some form of a unmoved mover that moved creation from the start. I will go over why this isn't the case here.
First of all their was no nothing before the universe nothing is a relational concept. It does not describe the actual actual thing itself. No rather the universe has always been and it started at a certain point of origin x.
So know that the conception of absolute begging point and absolute infinity is out what is left ? well simple eternity the universe is eternal it goes on for ever. But in a finite way it is not a infinite sequence. The universe could be going on till eternity itself.
the universe then is a rational 1. Which we can understand. It is not something outside of conceptual reality. Rather it is a understandable reality. This blows most of the nihilism of today out the window. We are not some insignificant insects we are rational beings who can understand the universe the universe is a postivitive one.
The universe is not some irrational place it's a perfectly ordered place their is not some higher reality out their we can understand reality and we understand what our purpose is.
