I made this thread to gather some opinions and anecdotes on therapy as a solution to the massive social anxiety, avoidance, and non-NT that develops from a lifetime of being sub5 - or genetic predisposition to mental illness.

Yeah in my opinion therapy is useless before ascension as 1 minute on tinder can easily undo an hour of therapy.

Dunno if it’s useful after as I’ve not ascended yet.

People can believe otherwise but therapy works man, just gotta find the therapist that works for you. It’s not all black and white where all therapy = bad.

I’d try it a few times with different doctors and form your own opinion rather than people on here who’ve never done a session.

I also watch healthygamer_gg he’s a cool dude and is respectful on incel culture. And also teaches you good skills if you’re socially recessed like me due to extrmely low PSL growing up.

To listen to me, give me feedback, bring me back to reality. I’ll say something that seems extremely real to me but as soon as I say it out loud to my therapist, I realize how nonsensical it is. So they help me stay grounded in reality and take on life skills so I can actually function. Some therapists are more introspective than others so you can learn about the core reason why you act a certain way or why you hold a certain belief. Every therapist is different though.
 
Therapy is a meme. Imagine paying money to a person who pretends to give a shit about you
 
I would rather spend money on escorts than therapy
