i have same problem. my skin color is a very dull brown. For you to be ethnic and look good you have to have a bright and vibrant color. He has like a sunburnt reddish dull brown

it doesn't matter if you're dating other foreigners, but these kinds of coloring are indicative of disease in europeans so there's likely some kind of subconscious response.
