Cruz and minassian are around the same looks level.

Yet no other mass shooter managed to become an internet cultural touchstone and meme like ER

Men love him. Women love him. Even trannies love him. The internet can't stop posting about this crazy ass fish lipped hapa

He didn't even have interesting ideas like breivik or Ted. His ramblings were mostly incoherent

It's probably physiognomy. He just looks like a central Asian prince

It was probably his personality he was the most charismatic of all these incel killers

U notice these incel guys usually have a very hateful mad tone while Eliot was the same but in a attempt at being sufisticated and that’s probably what makes him stand out

Also cause he was one of the first

Because almost everything about him seemed unreal. He wasn't a caricature of anything in particular. He was a completely unique human. The others are more pedestrian, or even fit into one short description: ugly guy who says he wants to kill normies because he can't get pussy, white nationalist shooter that wants to stop immigration to his country, STEM genius that started to despise technology. What defines Elliot Rodger? Everything and nothing. You cannot concisely describe him, because any attempt you try to make just ends up doing a disservice to the entire mystique surrounding him.

The videos of him dancing to 80s music in the car and doing model poses, the pretentious and theatrical attitude, his almost androgynous and strange facial features, his seemingly privileged background in proximity to stardom yet so far, his internet postings, his international rootless upbringing, the manifesto where he describes his failures to not only get laid but even maintain a semblance of actual genuine relationships with other people. We've all met someone with one or two characteristics like this that defined them, but not the innumerable different strange circumstances that created ER. Despite spending the last weeks of his life fedposting on an incel forum, he despised incels. Incels argue over how they're more subhuman than other incels and talk about how over it is for them. ER said he was a SUPREME GENTLEMAN and that it was irrational for women to NOT be attracted to him and that they MUST be punished for this injustice - there's almost something Nietzschean about it. He totally broke the mold from normalcy in every possible way, and in a way transcended humanity by being so grotesquely eccentric.

And whatever you may think - that he was insane, a monster, a killer, a psychopath and malignant narcissist, a fakecel, an incel - deep down you begin to agree with him that there really WAS something special about him. His entire personality is so bizarre and inscrutable that merely invoking his name or his behaviors is humorous. Nobody will ever understand Elliot Rodger besides Elliot Rodger. All our ideas of what he was are merely fragmented simulacrums and projections of something which will never again exist tainted by our own intrinsic biases, ideals, and backgrounds. It is us talking about him today and in the years to come - and NOT his mass shooting - that is the final performance art piece, the coup de grace of Elliot Rodger.

Yeah this is it. He's just one of a kind and people gravitate toward that. It's the same thing with celebrities, musicians like Kurt cobain. It's not technical skill or the art itself but there's something uniquely them that makes us remember them.

That's why people who say he could've roided, used his dad's status, could've done this or that don't really get it. For someone like that there really is no other way they could've been, other than themselves

Another thing that you rarely see with incels is he never saw himself as a victim or felt sorry for himself

Almost every single incel, on here or otherwise has self pity, resentment, and woe is me as a core part of their identity

As pathetic as Elliot was he never really felt sorry for himself or expected anyone else to. As far as he was concerned women and the world at large were at fault. You can't really consider him an abused dog in that sense

He talked about skinny blondes or whatever but it isn't like people here who want a waifu dream girl to save them and validate their low self worth. For him it was like felt so magnificent it only made sense he deserved top tier women
