What happened to Alan Ritchson's (Jack Reacher) face? How did he descend so hard in only 2 years?

This is him from the mid-2010s to about 2020, very shortly before he started playing Reacher. 30s to 40.

These are some more recent photos of him, 2022 to present, aged 41-42:

He looks like shit. Bloated, bags under his eyes, tear troughs, redness, other stuff I can't pinpoint. Like he aged 10 years in 2. Even on semi-frauded professional photos the decline is still apparent:

I get the age pill but he still looked fine 2 years ago, this seems like something else. The fact that he started roiding for Reacher and F&F should be considered, but pretty much every male lead roids for parts that require a good physique, you don't see this kind of decline. Did he use them incorrectly or something? Are there other factors at play?

Come on these are like 3-4 years apart, this goes beyond ageing and it's definitely a noticeable descension.
