What makes a good dermastamp/roller?

I've seen many posts telling us to watch out about dermarollers from china which use "fake" needles because they can legit fuck up skin.
So how do you actually tell if what you have has real needles? What were the needles used in the studies which showed collagen production?
Also inb4 get a derminator 2, i'm not a richcel sorry.

I think all dermarollers and dermastamps cause microtearing(idk what that is but it sounds bad)
Derminator costs only 200 not much

I think that if the needles are too large they cause unnecessary damage to the skin or some shit
