This is the skincare guide I follow by @Titus7

I was wondering when is the best time to apply Retin-a as the guide does say anything about it.

When I used adapalene (topical retinoid) I put it on just before moisturiser

Most advice I read is retin-a,then wait 30 and then moisturizer.

When I was on retin a I just yolo'd it put 0.1% 1/3 tube on per night and went outside and felt like I was Vegeta in the hyperbolic timechamber like a boss.

Should've spelt it properly
Shit I'm really starting to regret this username.

To answer the question, use it on an evening but beyond that, it depends.
If you want to buffer it (ie, make it less harsh) either cleanse, Retin A, moisturise immediately. Or cleanse, moisturise, Retin A.
If you don't want to buffer it, cleanse, Retin A, wait 30 minutes, moisturise. Or cleanse, Retin A, sleep.
