There's plenty of high IQ or naturally intelligent people who haven't accomplished shit in life.

So, of course, the athlete who's actually winning games, working out, practicing, and being active in sports will stand out more than a high IQ kid with little to no social life.

If, however, you can combine IQ and EQ/social skills, the world is your oyster.
