Hating a being for its inherent nature is like resenting a tree for losing its leaves in autumn. Just as a tree is biologically programmed to shed leaves in response to environmental changes, beings have inherent traits that are a fundamental part of their existence. Resenting a tree for its natural cycle of life is unreasonable because it acts according to its nature, not out of malice or choice. Similarly, hating a being for its innate characteristics ignores the fact that these traits are often uncontrollable and not a matter of voluntary action.
