according to this study https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/ar...vels were higher, were not associated with SWS.
gh production during normal sleep as we know there is a big gh surge during deep sleep, but during sleep deprivation this gh surge dissapeard, BUT here is the twist "During sleep after deprivation, GH secretion was prolonged, and second GH peaks occurred". So basically lets say you sleep normal for one week then deprived for another week(so less hours of sleep) and then you sleep normal again the next week. Your body produces more gh in the third week in order to Compensate for the lost sleep in the 2nd week. so 5 days of school deprived weekend your body compensates and produces more , while idk if its as much as if you slept the entire week normal. But the point is many heightcels will be sleep deprived and continoue cuz they believe the cant make up the lost hours , but thats not true , sleep isnt the reason ur short.

This don't make any sense, like, it overproduces gh to compensate for the sleep deprevation ? So sleeping normally and depriving yourself and sleeping normally will probably be the same. Since the gh is balanced

This is what sleep deprived faces look like:

sleep deprivation is one of the worst human inventions

yes , this totally makes sense , your body naturally makes up for sleep you lost . Probably developed it since us humans since the dawn of time never were able to have consistent sleep.
