I have some doubts cause bones are already formed.. but actually don't know. Only realistitic would be fixing hair loss and change hair colour.

Nope. Every single cell you have has genetic material, you would have to change everything.

It works for eggs because it's literally only 1 cell

if your could edit the dna of every single cell in your body simultaniously it'd work
but good luck with that, you have trillions of cells

Everyone have trillions of cells, it was theoretical question.

There are HUGE issues. For monogenic diseases? Maybe. Ex vivo or in vivo? Ex vivo and transplantation of cells back in the body I am positive for a yes. For more complex multifactorial diseases combined with strictly in vivo editing, an even stronger maybe. For germline editing? Probably not in your lifetime.

Still huge problems need to be addressed.

AAVs are not ideal as vectors for in vivo delivery.

Cas9 immunogenicity huge problems when given as plasmid. And if given as RNP problem with large scale production, cost, transient nature of expression, lower efficiency.

Off target effect mutagenesis massive problem inherent to the gene editing machinery not just the delivery vehicle. Could be partly resolved with truncated sgRNAs and bioinformatics inspired design of sgRNA and high fidelity Cas9 variants. Maybe... Maybe we should completely design a CRISPR system to avoid double stranded breaks in the DNA in the first place. This has already been done but still underwhelming.

FUND research. Pour money in.
