Ab training ?

Does training abs actually help them look better. I’m well aware you need to be below a certain body fat threshold in order to see your abs, but I wanna train them beforehand, has anyone here who is lean enough in the first place got any decent results from training them ?

I’m probably gonna train them regardless because they translate well to some exercises especially pulling movements.
