Any fellow Double Edged shavers on here?
If not perhaps i can introduce it...
It's how our grandfathers and fathers used to shave... And guess what.. it's far, far superior to using those ridiculous Gillette Mach 3 expensive razors.
1. Better Shave
2. Less irritation - You can shave with the grain and get a close shave, as opposed to going against the grain and causing irritation/rash.
3. Cheaper
4. More fun
There are loads and loads of razors out there, as well as blades of varying sharpness ..
And there's are loads and loads of shaving soaps and creams.
When you first start out you will cut yourself but you soon get the hang of it. I've been DE Shaving for over 5 years now and it's effortless for me.
My setup..
I use Merkur razor
Astra blades
Badger brush from Old Bonde Street
Prorasso Italian Menthol Shaving Cream
Getting a decent razor is quite pricey but it will last you forever.. The same with the badger brush.
Blades are cheap and so is shaving cream.
Loads of videos on youtube if ya curious and want to stop tearing up your skin.
