I’ve been looking for guides, YouTube videos, courses even on how to make myself more concentrated

Medication is boring, a waste of time and never worked

Recently I’ve really destroyed my brain, I can’t focus on anything for long periods of time (I never could before but it’s worse now) and now that I’ve taken things like adderall I know what life could be like.

There are two versions of me, the version that ruthlessly purses his goals even if he’s not having fun, and the version that has goals but decided to do somthing with less friction like watching YouTube.

I need to focus but my only method atm is PEDs if anyone has an answer id love to know

Imo the only thing that works is having someone watch for you to hold you accountable or group with guys who are highly enthusiastic like minded and goal determined, your surrounding is what shapes you.

This. I used to be so productive because but i had freinds who atually gave a shit about the work they are doing, but now I just don't do anything due to my freinds just rot

delete tiktok, ig reels, youtube shorts and any form of short video format for a month and never go on it. try reading for 30 mins a day. dont rely on drugs

Drugs like vorinostat and nardil have permanent effects, keep coping.

All are temporary and will make you worse and dependent long-term, read “caffeine blues”

Make a list of what you plan to get done for the day. I personally study and break down the amount of material in need to finish by a certain time. X number of pages I need to read within an hour, and X number of problems I need to solve within an hour for however many hours. I also have alarms every 30 minutes to keep track of time.

And reading books is for dumb people imo

Reading books is for dumb people
They are almost always outdated, and take 10x more time compared to reading threads, summaries or audio books.

They are also almost always super broad, I saw a publisher say popular books are broad because the niche ones get less sales. Idk if that true though

Not possible for me, I’m by far the smartest and most successful person in my area. And I know this because I make more money than anyone I’ve ever met in person

Good advice, I currently do this. Although my main issue is I just don’t end up doing it. I might make it through half and then push it off til the next day

you can do all of this in a day and youll notice a big difference , and the longer you do it the momentum you build, i do everything here except take lisuride, actually i stopped doing dopamine detox too its over , i really wanna do it again

the last time i took some drug someone recommended me on this forum i went full pyschosis and got sent to the pysch ward but this sounds promising
 
which amph you use and what dose
how long did u use it for
10mg adderall IR redosing on comedown
over if u need more than 10mg
and over if u use longer than 4x a week

I use caffeine and sometimes nicotine while putting my phone on dnd. But if your brain is fucked try like reading a book or something idk.

Reading’s for your concentration. It requires you to use your brain actively rather than scrolling passively on your social media. Besides there are bunch of other benefits too.

For your business, maybe you can delete it on your phone and only check in on your laptop. That way you’re not scrolling and only answering clients dm or work you gotta do.

it’s total bs, if I wanted to improve concentration I would practice concentrating. The entire purpose of a book is to learn what’s inside. You made that garbage up. (I hate books) I have no problems reading, but an audio book is not going to make me concentrate any more than a podcast could.

Your probably right on that phone stuff, maybe I’ll delete the app or make new accounts, that’s valid, thanks

You have to get to the root cause of the problem:

#1
If you're having issues with procrastination, you need to get in the habit of immediately taking action the moment you get reminded about it. You want to avoid the whole mental self-negotiations gimmick & get straight to work.

#2
If you're having issues with focusing for long periods of time, then you need to understand that concentration is a skill. You need to keep practicing and building your mental endurance. It's obviously easier said than done, but you should try to make the entire process as simple as possible for yourself.

Personally, I try and eliminate as many distractions as possible in my environment. You shouldn't trust that you won't indulge in a distraction if it's closely available (especially if you think your concentration is fucked). Meditation can also generally help because it's all concentration & practicing the ability of keeping your thoughts at bay.

If you're having issues with being productive within a set period of time, then you need to understand Parkinson's Law (work expands to fill the time available for its completion). Best book on this topic is "Deep Work" by Cal Newport.

Finally, I'll give it to you straight: stop being a pussy ass bitch and go read books. The whole purpose of reading a book is to truly engrain things into your mind. Watching a Youtube video or a summary of a book only works short term. It will also improve your ability to concentrate on mundane tasks.
