From my experience, if you tried to hang out with them after that, they would hang out at most one time and then ghost you.

Women have all the friends they need easily, and generally don't want anymore. "Let's just be friends" is more of a way for them to let you down easily, when in reality they are more than likely going to ghost you, if you pursue being friends with them.

I'll still keep trying because I want to have friends, but just fyi. The one female friend I did have, was friends with me for about six months, but stopped hanging out with me because I kept rejecting her romantic advances.
