1)It is usually at least 6 years, if you want to become a surgeon, potentially longer.

2)You don't need a degree for CS, if youre getting a CS masters degree, chances are you are going in to academics which earn way less unless you do cutting edge research and get in to the private sector. Generally you only get bachelors(3-4 years and while studying, a lot of us work full time paralell to studies, you can't really do that as a med student unless you have 0 social life), but as the years pass it becomes less and less worth it. You don't need qualifications for tech, experience/knowledge is king here.

3) Sounds kind of BS, I highly doubt those numbers, would appreciate if you could provide some sources. That would be like saying 80% of finance/business grads have their own company.
