Yes, you need dimorphic traits. You definitely have them with kleinfelters and literally having to prove you're not a female to forum staff. I couldn't pull it off despite softmaxxing and general neoteny due to my height (6 foot and 1/2 inches) and my nose being too bulbous. I'm not a transmaxxer though and I'm not trying to trick the system to gain any advantages. I'm just being myself regardless of what anyone thinks so I'll most likely die lonely, disparaged, vindictive and addicted to drugs.
