because you people put these normal girls on a throne and treat them like gods. Then the next guy she goes to doesnt, and she lives the rest of her life trying to be tret like a god again, when she does? She thinks of you as someone below her level, and so goes onto a guy she thinks is on *her* level because he treats her like a normal person, then that boy breaks her and it becomes a cycle.
