I have a couple questions for high IQ Users, please add knowledge ITT

A high " quadrangular" lefort 1 is a variation of a lefort 1 where the cut is made a bit higher than lefort 1
This allows us to bring that part forward and bring the rest forward with an Infraorbital-Malar-Maxillary Implant

Gr1 428

This is a reuslt of a quadrangular lefort 1 but i dont know whether IMM Implants were used in combination

Ideally it would be High CCW lefort 1 + bsso + long chin wing for me

Can a bsso and long chin wing be performed at the same time?

I asked that question to @Dr Shekelberg a while back, this is what he told me:
both at the same time would be hard

because the normal BSSO is cut at the mandible and you would have 3 pieces of your chin wing if you would perform it after (but still in the same procedure (the 2 posterior cuts at the gonion and the rest of the jaw)

or do surgeon does the Chinwing before, lays the bone down somewhat and cuts the BSSO, and then reattach the chin wing cut and move it forward

but this is complicated and a hassle

Hmmm I want this but can you get ccw when the cut is not a straight line?

I would never cut my maxilla in half. MSE/FM for life

Ask a surgeon tbh

vertically break your maxilla and pull at it to achieve monkey face

If I phrase it like that, LeFort 1 sounds more domesticated

What's the benefit of moving the Lefort cut higher? You could just do a standard lefort 1 and have an implant above. Where the quadrangular cut is in your image is right through the infraorbital nerve.

Similar case to what you were describing:

The only lefort that makes sense is lefort 3. If you aren’t moving the whole thing forward there’s no point.

It is possible but can be complicated and lead to unnecessary complications.

Nice case study

The benefit of lefort cut is less implant material to be used

I disagree with this, imo the main issue with standard lefort 1 is that it doesn’t move nose forward if you can do that with the quadrangular then what’s the big problem with undereye fat transfer/ orbital rim implant and then Possibly fillers for cheeks?
