I'm not sure where we got the idea that gay guys are better looking than straight because it's not true. The gay ones that somehow get noticed for being good looking are exceptions. Most homosexuals are very unattractive. I wonder if that's why they became homosexual.

It doesn't always ring true. I saw pictures from a pride parade, and while a lot of them were middle aged, still the good looking ones were few and far between. Most of them looked awful, even the younger dudes look bad- usually too feminine or they just look oddly shaped. The really "buff" gays are usually bisexual men who like to get money and attention.
