Yes. Last year I had that problem with braces, my teeth were brought back and I started to see clear changes in my upper maxilla real quickly lol. She told me that she "needs to do what she has to, and the process can't be on hold because I've the decided, all of the sudden, to worry about facial aesthetic"...

I don't really know exactly what to do, I don't think mewing would be efficient enough and I'm scared because people with this problem go to another orthodontist and get told that their teeth are fine and they are not gonna do anything lol.

Any advice?

I have both now. Forward grown maxilla, but I always had bad teeth. Got braces at 17 and now I have both.
