Even when it's for my own good. I've always had this mentality. I'm known for it amongst my family and social circle. Once I say something I never go back on my word. My mind is set and no one can convince me otherwise. I commit to things 100% and even when it transpires I was wrong and stupid I never change my mind.
This applies to arranged marriage. I've ALWAYS told my parents I'm not having it. I'm not gonna go back on my word and they don't expect me to. My pride is too big to swallow even if it means I pass up on a once in a lifetime opportunity.
