Is the beard worth it?

I have recently decided to start growing my facial hair; it’s been about 1.5 weeks since I have started growing it. I’m not sure if I should continue. I would say that there’s quite a bit of hair around my cheeks but i’m not sure if it’s enough for a beard. It doesn’t help that my hair is naturally a darker blonde making it harder to see from a far.

I just want some opinions and to understand if it’s worth it for me.
