I doubt you’ve ever gotten past stage 1. She’s a cashier so she’s probably wondering why you’ve asked for her name like you’re going to report her to the manager or something. If you aren’t good looking they probably won’t flirt back so to make your intentions clear tell them you think they’re cute or something.
