Some races are more attractive to women. Sadly according to many studies, Asian men seem to have the lowest SMV towards women. This is partially due to how the Asian man was represented as the nerdy, subhuman-looking man who was socially awkward by the media, and also because their culture and skeletal structure are widely different to the West. However, all of this has changed in the last few years with the rise of K-pop. The rise of K-pop has destroyed the old Asian stereotype and has created this new niche where soft-looking K-pop men were the most desirable of Asian men. This niche still exists to be taken advantage of. So, I thought it would be a good idea to compile the information in one place for people to see. Enjoy
Hair Style
Hair is the primary characteristic that defines a K-pop star. Generally, you will need long hair, with medium length at a bare minimum. You must get a perm or have decent hairstyling skills with a blow dryer and/or curling iron to avoid flat straight generic Asian hair. If you have weak eyebrows you can easily hide them and get away with godly hair. From there, you can choose from four main hairstyles:
Modern Mullet Comma Hair
Comma Hair
Slicked-Back Hair Curtain Parted Bangs
On top of that use
- sea salt spray for further texture and volume
- Clay/pomade for sculpting the hair
- dye it light blond / have natural jet black hair
- get copper highlights (optional)
This is my recommendation:
Physique
The first step is to hit the gym, building a decent amount of muscle mass and cutting down to 10 - 12% body fat. With a decent amount of muscle mass, don't go overboard and become a victim of the male gaze, aim for a more athletic naturally achievable level like some of these:
Get the right amount of protein (1 gram per pound of body weight min), and cut down maintenance calories very slowly to get to lower body fat. From there you will have abs, a decent amount of muscle and importantly a sharp and well-defined face.
Skin
Cut down on a lot of processed, artificial foods and dairy products if possible. Figure out your skin type (dry or oily) and start a basic skin routine. Buy a moisturizer, cleanser and exfoliator. Moisturize and cleanse twice a day (morning and night) and exfoliate once a week. Make sure to always use sunscreen to keep the pale K-pop skin. Most important, however, is vitamin C serum. It will lighten the skin tone to get closer to that K-pop look. Aim to keep youthful features such as lighter skin, and make sure to clean shave.
Fashion/Coloring
In terms of enhancing the Asian eye shape, if you are wearing glasses switch to contact lenses. One of the benefits of asian skeletal structure is the eye shape, and by wearing glasses you are effectively handicapping yourself. Contacts can provide more flexibility in shaping the appearance of the eyes, allowing for different styles and look as well as showing off the positive canthal tint. Additionally, experiment with coloured eye lenses. Get blue or green if it looks natural and not uncanny, otherwise hazel is a popular choice.
When it comes to fashion and style, streetwear is a popular trend in the world of K-pop. Incorporating streetwear elements into your wardrobe can help achieve a more trendy look. Accessorizing with earrings, chains, and rings can also add a stylish touch to your overall look. Silver accessories tend to complement the colouring and aesthetics commonly seen in K-pop fashion. Makeup is an essential part of the K-pop style. Stick to more basic stuff, like foundation and avoid using too much besides photos and frauding online.
Conclusion
If you take anything from this, it is that hairstyling, physique, and clear skin are the key components to ascending in the K-pop aesthetic.
