Only someone as equal parts dumb and egotistical as madonna could put out something like this.

Hilariously ironic. The combination of a dance-beat and fast cuts ends up fetishizing what is supposed to be "shocking" imagery and instead gives it the treatment of an action or porn film.

And the doubly whammy, immediately following reverential scenes of a church and jesus on the cross, is the scene of slaughter at a nightclub full of fags and drag queens engaging in drug taking and spit swapping. Apparently it never dawned on her or her producers that one could easily make the connection that god in this instance is encouraging the wholesale slaughter of faggots like he did at Sodom and Gomorrah. Madonna has always like to (ab)use christian imagery in her music videos, but her awareness of it is exactly the same as so many teenage girls who like to wear crosses around their necks not because of faith or identity but because it just looks cool, okay??
