In theory, nothing is impossible.
For instance, can you train a snail to outrun a cheetah?
Well… yeah if you genetically engineer it so Fken much to the point it no long resembles a snail…
But hey! That’s CHEATING!
There in lies the problem. And the ONLY thing that TRULY makes things impossible are setting restrictions on what you’re allowed to do.
Is flying impossible?
Well… no just enter a plane.
Thats CHEATING!
Setting restrictions is really the only thing that makes things impossible. For the most part, aside from breaking fundamentals laws for physics (traveling faster than light speed) or logical contradictions (making a stick with one end), nothing is impossible.
So the next question then becomes… what restrictions should you honor? Because I’ve seen all too often people throw tasks at other people, and then set restrictions that make those tasks simply impossible. It makes no sense to honor restrictions that tasks impossible.
And the restrictions are set maliciously, either by a competitor to give him the upper hand since he’s not honoring his own restrictions, or by clueless idiots who simply never attempted the task being discussed.
