Ok before I start using Retin-A I want to make sure I won’t suffer consequences later or make my life more difficult without knowing. Therefore I have some questions to begin with, maybe we’ll develop into a proper discussion.
So here it goes:
#1 - Should I use Retin-A without medic recommendation?
#2 - Is Retin-A usage potentially harmful long term? I mean increasing the risk of skin cancer.
#3 - If I can’t avoid the sun (daily activities, going to work etc), but I put SPF cream on, am I fully protected from any harmful side effects Retin-A may cause?
#4 - This is related to getting a tan - is going to beach forbidden while using Retin-A? How am I supposed to get a natural tan?
#5 - How long till Retin-A effects wear off? I mean how long do I have to wait until my skin is no longer extra sensitive to sun due to Retin-A usage?
