Answer: Lip Lift and Gummy Smile

By definition a lip lift will potentially expose a little more upper tooth show and this may exaggerate a gummy smile issue. I wouldn't do a lip lift unless one is also going to treat the gummy smile issue at the same time.

Had my consult today to book my lip lift. I asked about it possibly causing more gum show when smiling because I already have a few mms. Doctor advised that it is definitely possible so I should think about the trade off of shorter philtrum for more gum show.
Quick search on real self and Eppley himself confirms.
What to do now? I can't have more gum show, I can't have my long philtrum, and I can't afford to fix both at the same time for at least a couple years.

Have a lefort 1 after the lip lift.

wagecuck and get both fixed

i really need this surgery because i cant afford a lefort 1 now, and its way too invasive for my family to let me do it without kicking me out.

and im not sure if a `gummy smile` is considered to be when you do a normal smile or an exaggerated one.

any news op?
