I'm 26 and have been feeling like OP since I turned 22 or 21. I can't pintpoint the exact moment I began truly feeling this way but I still remember being around that age and thinking "this is it, my youth is over".

it hasn't gotten any better since and i don't have much hope that it will. i'm not responding to finasteride and my face feels like it's prematurely aging. i can't even revel on any "prime" because I never had a social life to begin with and the few girlfriends I had, I would have been better off without.

Aging doesn't hit you gradually. It comes very quickly once you're past a certain age. I used to be like you, went out drinking every year for 10+ years late into my 20s and even early 30s. But then starting at 31-32, something just 'changed'. Suddenly, you no longer have the energy that you used to have and everything just becomes more difficult for some reason. Oh, and may start losing your hair as well.

Trust me boy, you ARE enjoying your last 'good' years right now.
