Why do i get a double chin while mewing?

I dont have a double chin normally but when i mew i get like a double chin.
I have a tongue tie so i have to "mew manually" and when i do i dont feel my back tongue engaging very well
I dont know if im doing something wrong, please if you know something about it tell me.
Also i would love to have a lingual frenilectomyi will try to have it in the next months
