Ima keep it short.
Our ancestors as well as other animals didn't use to wash their food, they inevitably ate some dirt along with it. Albeit small amounts.
By washing your food you lower your exposure to natural pathogens and don't allow your immune system to fully develop.
The immunue system strength has a direct proven effect on your looks, being an extremely important health indicator.
So don't wash your food. (Unless it's covered with pesticide but then ideally don't eat it in the first place, i'm talking about wild fruit or stuff from your garden.)
