How to fix self-esteem/Depression?

Title.

Seems impossible. Things I have tried:

1) Socializing more.
2) Getting a job.
3) Exercising a lot.
4) Fixing diet, supplement-maxing.
5) Dating.

Only thing that works is 6) Drugs. But only short-term, and it makes your life a complete emotional rollercoaster where you feel good and then bad and then good, etc. Everything is fucked up.

6) Better than being depressed without self-esteem, so I will keep doing that for now until there are better alternative I guess tbh.

I've found nic to work for me, but you can always go for some blow or g if you want that extra kick.

its from my past mostly. I get validation now, but it just makes me more insecure as it clashes with my past and inner self

very uncomfortable and it makes me not enjoy getting validation outside. rather rot inside like i did in childhood where i dont zone out etc

what do you want out of life? do you have any long term goals?
anhedonia can come from lack of purpose.

this forum focuses too much on pleasure. you need both to not be depressed long term.
sex, drugs, parties, socializing, traveling, all those things can make you happy and make life enjoyable,

but you need to feel sense of achievement, success, pride, victory, community, legacy & purpose too

blackpill nukes your sense of purpose until you learn to readjust to the world. that's the blackpill nihilism. happens to all of us, even me. you feel like nothing matters anymore but you know you better looksmax if you're gonna survive this new world, so we hyperfocus on that

but after a while you can set new life goals and regain purpose. it's like they say you go blackpill, get looks, then transition to blue. i dont view it as being bluepilled though. there's no delusion, you see the world for what it is. but once you looksmax you can now focus on other things, like family, career goals, hobbies, skills you want to master,

got to find a new purpose. its the same with athletes after retirement. they become depressed because they don't know how to adjust and set new goals

most ppl here make slaying their new purpose, but if you do that you will be depressed long term. because it's really a pleasure activity and you get used to it after a while.

looksmaxxing falls under the purpose category since its a long term goal that you achieve over time, and can give you feelings of accomplishment and confidence. but theres more to life after that

i would take time away from the internet, get a notepad and think about what your ideal life looks like
what excites you? besides pussy
what did you wanna be as a kid?
what are you good at?

you got it. i lost my purpose. sex, drugs and everything pleasurable is great but when people ask what im working towards, or where i see myself in 5 years, i have no answer.

i used to have ambition and dreams. but those were crushed by the blackpill. and ive been working towards looksmaxxing for years now, maybe in a year or two i’ll be at my peak. but then what? i ascend maybe 2 or 3 points, wont become a chad.

and i still have to deal with the decades of trauma growing up looking and feeling how i did. i may be able to get girls but even then, whats really the point?

dont see any point to money or status or any kind of achievements now.

at this point i dont even remember what i used to be so excited about, it probably wasnt grounded in reality anyway.

so i spend the rest of my life just chasing pleasures, but its incredibly empty. even with a large social circle and girls to talk to i dont really have a reason to get up and jump into life.

someone as mentally broken/nihilist as me couldnt have a normal life with a family, good career, hobbies. its just the way its always been
 
I'd be willing to bet money you have a poor diet and a poor gut microbiome - I've never met someone who's not nutrionally deficient with a good gut who's depressed.

Start consuming raw kefir and or raw sauerkraut daily to fix your gut bacteria.

Also, consume grass-fed beef liver and other nutrient rich foods like wild caught fish and raw milk/ butter to be sufficient across the board in micronutrients and amino acids. And stop masterbating if you haven't already.

How do you get raw butter, I already get raw milk from the farmers but I assume you can't buy raw butter at the store?

Do you make raw kefir from raw milk? I struggle to find a good source for kefir grains. In the UK btw

I'm also from the UK, I get it at a farmers market in London. I guarantee you can buy it locally near you too or if not then you can buy it on the Internet but it would be more expensive. Look up local farmers markets near you and see if they have one doing raw dairy (they should)

Either. Tbh mate I'm quite lazy and I don't mind spending extra money so if I can I'll just buy it pre done but I have done it before with raw milk myself, yeah. Either way works great though so doesn't matter.
