Pretty interesting to be honest, haven't read/seen much about this form of "status".
Some of the things mentioned are obvious but I still think this is something that could be explored further in terms of specific methods.

I know a few rich people. and they do that.
Buth dress like a complete hobo. in daily life. but bth have nice cars, and 1 has nice house.

I also am moving towards mixed signals.
My clothing is kinda high status, as well as my grooming.
but my car and location of hosue, is quit lower status. And then they don't know, what to think.

Assuming they're not low iq they'll think that you are a poser by spending your money on high end clothing instead of saving it for long term purchases. Seen people like this since high school, it's blatantly obvious.

People may well think, I'm a poser. I think that's okay. I would never wanna send, a 100% clear picture though they would make me see as rich/good money. I hate golddigging and betabuxxing to my core. I did that once, and never again. It feels not so good to me, betabuxxing. Genuine attraction, or death.
