LIfefuel: 18 year olds are getting fatter but not really taller

In Austria every 18 year old has to go to have an inspection where they measure things like height weight and fitness. A military spokesperson is claiming on twitter that young people are getting fatter but not really taller. since 1990 they got 6.4 kilogram heavier but only grew 1.4 cm. average height is 178.5 m right now so average height around Zoomers is not 6 foot 2 like many people claim. of course, among whites it is probably a bit taller because many 18 yr old men are migrants but still.
