gym isn't cope, especially if you are still developing. Good diet + balacning hormones + exercising + good sleep hygiene is the best what can you do at young age. My frame also got HUGE GROWTH since Im training ( 17-19 years old ).

the frame is the same, and it will be super difficult for you to improve the actual width now that you've exhausted your most easy gains

No matter what Gym will always increase your SMV somewhat. However, how much of an effect it has will greatly depend on a few things. Such as face, height, and genetics in regards to bodybuilding.

My Pediatrician told me to not hit the gym at 15 and better do sports, should I listen to him?

At 15 I will focus on stretching, running, swimming, calisthenic instead of gym. Start gym at 16-17. My goal was more about ''actiivty'' and sport, not about abusing pre-workouts, taking peds etc.

I would recommend not taking peds personally
 
Gym is pure cope if you're ugly or short
 
Thousands of hours in the gym, autistically meal prepping your food, all for this. Brutal.
