how do you measure it? do u put the measuring tape around your body on should level or you just measure shoulder to shoulder?

Around mine which is 22 inches. I'm almost never frame mogged by guys my height

Its more about the ratio compared to other parts of your body. Of course its always better to be wider and taller but it would be better to have an 18 inch bideltoid width with a thin waist and thin hips than 20 inch bideltoid width with a 38 inch waist and wide hips.

Bideltoid is basically shoulder width. Stand against a wall, mark the wall where your shoulders end and measure

Military stats are automatically higher than the actual average due to the military having bigger guys and also them being more likely to be muscular compared to civilians, I'd take off an inch for each tier of bideltoid
