Ok here's my take on that. A small but significant minority of male faces are ugly enough that they can never have sex or relationships with a woman without paying for it such as with an escort. I believe something like 15-20% of men meet this definition among younger men in the west. The problem is inceldom was actually rare among older generations before female hypergamy exploded due to internet, social media, and affordable travel. Back then it would be a minority, less than 5%, 1% is way too low and many of them probably fucked prostitutes.
