Tongue and teeth hurt from mewing, is it normal?

Is it normal for your teeth and tongue to hurt while mewing? Been doing it for 2 days and can't really do it anymore because my tongue hurts when i try to keep my posterior third pressed onto my palate, and the side of my tongue hurts from my teeth, idk if that's normal or what? Also what should i do at night to keep my tongue posture correct since it doesn't stay onto my palate while i'm asleep, and also i start breathing through my mouth since my nose gets stuffy for some reason during the night

Recetly 2 of my teeth started moving from the constant tounge pressure. I would recommend a facepuller that hold up your teeth in place (there are templates on the forum look it up)

Yep, the tongue has muscles, and they're going to get sore. As for teeth, soreness usually means there is pressure on the periodontal ligament. This means the teeth are most likely moving. The same thing happens when you have invisalign, braces, or palate expanders (trust me, I know).
