I started drinking coffee every morning in order to quit nicotine. It started with one cup, but now I'm up to 3-4 cups of black coffee every morning and occasionally a large cappuccino from the local coffee shop.
Ngl I feel like it's really fucking me up, I crash hard around 4-5pm and sometimes I get way too shaky and hyper around noon if I've been drinking coffee all morning. I want to stop but I'm so addicted now, I get a headache if I haven't had at least one cup by 11am. I feel like it legit deters me away from smoking too, I rarely get nicotine cravings anymore.
I'm curious how it actually affects metabolism/skin/hormones, it suppresses hunger well until about mid-afternoon but I haven't lost any weight since I started drinking it.
