Why do some bodybuilders not have prominent jaws?? Simple. Most of them don’t have the bone support that is needed for a big masseter muscle but even then you can still have a big jaw which in turn means they’re very recessed or have extremely trash jaw bone genetics which is extremely rare.

Muscles used in chewing are primarily the masseter muscles and maybe the mentalis muscle (chin muscle)

Muscles used while straining or struggling to lift a heavy weight: Most of the facial muscles are used

Muscles you “grew”: mentalis muscle (chin muscle)

Now for my last explanation. Why do bodybuilders have big jaws? Cause steroids grow muscles, including the facial muscles, but since they arent used as much, the primary muscles used are the: “Around the lips area muscles”, the masseter muscles and the chin muscles, oh and the buccinator muscles to a degree since Sam Sulek grew these muscles from his abuse and the reason why he has “hollow cheeks”

Edit: He doesn’t really have hollow cheeks, it’s just that the buccinator muscles or the “Around the lips” muscles are used in moderation making them appear more prominent etc. You can also “tone” the muscles that give the illusion of hollow cheeks but I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t want nasolabial folds or aren’t sure you will get them if you train them or not.

Not facial exercises, Facial strain. Usually bodybuilders do heavy weight exercises for failure, when they reach half of the reps the Facial strain is becoming insain. This does loading on jaw, just read fluid flaw theory. Sure steroids speedup the growth 10 times as you said. But without the loading, it won't grow, no matter how much steroids you take. Nah. Jaw shape is determines by bone structure. Making your masseters bigger won’t make your jaw mog. The examples you linked already had jaws before they became champion bodybuilders.

Genetics isn't 1 certain height, it's Corridor or Genetics Top Potential. Your Corridor can be somewhere between 5'7 to 6'3 or 5'11 to 6'7. Most People are at the begining of their Corridor.
